This Week: From Greece to Rome

posted May 26, 2015, 2:09 PM by Warren Wannamaker

We're putting the finishing touches on our Greece Unit this week, with a quiz on the Peloponnesian War, the Macedonians, and the cultural legacy of Greece. Most students will be taking the quiz on Wednesday, with a few students (primarily because of absences and lost class time) taking the quiz on Thursday.

Students, as always, should bring their study tool and a pen to class when they take the quiz.

(Some students are also reworking their Greece Olympic Bid Battle projects. That's totally fine; however, students should be doing most of this work outside of normal class hours, namely before or after school. Mr. Wannamaker is available most days before and after school for help with this.)

After that, we'll be beginning our Rome Unit. This will start with a glance at the geography of the Italian Peninsula, and how the Ancient Romans interacted with their environment.

Have a great week
