Physical Features, the New Stone Age, and Region

Students have a few tasks to complete this week. First, students will have their Create-a-Continents graded. Students will then complete activities related to these projects, which will help them learn the next Theme of Geography, Human-Environment Interaction.

Students will also learn about the New Stone Age, and how life changed from the Old Stone Age. To do so, we'll complete activities like assembling a comic book that will explain the differences between these ages, and creating comparison charts to outline how life differed.

We'll then learn a bit about the fifth and final Theme of Geography, Region. To do so, we'll complete activities that use thematic maps to highlight what this Theme focuses on.

If there's time at the end of the week, we'll then start preparing for our next quiz, which will most likely be held at the beginning of next week.

Have a great week!
