Students spent today learning about the Code of Hammurabi. This code was a series of rules accumulated by Hammurabi to help rule his Empire.

Students learned about codes today by putting together a code of rules for our class. Then they began to read a primary source regarding some of the laws that were in Hammurabi's Code, and began to answer questions concerning the Code. These questions should have been taped onto page 59 of Student Notebooks, and answers to these questions (using complete sentences and TTQA) should be written on page 60. These questions should be answered for tomorrow's class.

We're also planning for a quiz this Friday, November 30. We'll plan for it, and prepare our study strategies for it, over the next few class days.

Have a great evening!
