India Geography and Early Culture

In this holiday-shortened week, students will do a few things.

First, students will review the key physical features for our Ancient India Unit. They will identify the major landforms and waterforms, and they will learn the important characteristics of these locales. This will lead them to hypothesize the best places to live in Ancient India, before learning about the locations that early settlers moved into.

Students will take a brief, 10-point quiz on their India Map on Tuesday. This 10-question quiz will find students identifying the different physical features that we discussed in class.

After the quiz, students will complete a timeline activity that identifies some of the important time periods of Ancient Indian History (which we'll discuss during the unit), and we'll begin looking at the Indus Valley Civilization.

Have a great week, and a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable break!
